Ambience: Luxe Thai place with a classy vibe. Beautifully decorated and not too busy. Spacious. Good for big and small groups. They have outdoor seating as well. Food: A hit and miss. Beautifully presented and the right temperature. Portion sizes were good enough. Flavors were not impactful as it looked. The Fish cake was bland, Coconut prawn although crunchy was just with sweet chilli sauce. The chicken fried rice, fish, beef satay, spring onion pancakes and coconut rice were good. The desert was a simple donut which was the right texture but the accompanying pandan custard lacked flavour and texture. There were not many options for cocktails or mocktails so I didnโt bother ordering them. Service : They were polite and courteous and when ordering asked to ensure there are no allergies. However, they seemed more mechanical and less attentive to come round to check if we needed to order anything else. The authentic beautiful Thai hospitality was definitely missing.

Finally had a chance to try this place after living in the area for 2 years due to the simple fact that they donโt do takeaway which blows my mind considering how packed this place always is but that has nothing to do with the food. I started with the house special cocktail aka the buffalo smile garden. it has ginger beer and honey in it which I thought sounded nice and different for a cocktail and I wanted to try those flavours together in a drink. Although the notes of ginger and honey did exist I felt like it was overpowered by the flavour of citrus. I feel like if they added less of that and more of the honey and ginger it would have been excellent but still it was nice. But $24 all the same. Entree was the fish cakes. I would say they are good, Iโve had better Iโve had worse. I did like how they were packed full of spring onions and the sauce they came with was nice. Although I will say they were slightly rubbery which I have noticed with fish cakes in the past Iโm not sure if thatโs some type of bonding agent they use. Main was the pad satay. Tbh I was expecting more flavour from the sauce, more of that peanut Thai taste. That being said the chicken was cooked perfectly and they did not skimp on the protein. The vegetables were great. Not overcooked or undercooked just that perfect crunch and clearly quite fresh. The serving sizes were also a plus. Pretty generous. I will say the coconut rice the flavour of coconut was non existent to me and Iโm not sure if they accidentally gave me steamed rice instead. But again cooked great perfect texture. This is one of those times that I wish these reviews could do half stars as well as I probably would have rated 7/10 or 3 and a half stars. But not bad by any means

ORDERED: Soft shell crab salad ($32.90) Beef Massaman curry ($32.90) Smoked chicken breast green curry ($28.90) Crispy pork with chinese broccoli - Kana Moo Grob ($31.90) Spicy pork fried rice ($25.90) Steamed rice ($5.00) Roti with stay sauce ($11.00) +1.99% credit card surcharge It was $44.98pp between 5 people, which included a drink each. REVIEW: 5 mains for 5 people was perfect portions, along with some carbs. Our favourites were: 1. Smoked chicken breast green curry. It was so creamy and light. Presentation was great too - the brown grill marks on the chicken really added some colour. 2. Crispy pork with chinese broccoli. The pork was notably crispy, and the heavy hitting oyster sauce brought in some soy caramel depth that wasn't present from other dishes. We booked our seats outside, which was perfect for the end of Melbourne summer. The tables were made out of the rattan-type material, with no real strong support in the centre. Water glasses: beware! Our soft shell crab salad wasn't delivered in time with our other dishes. When I prompted the waitress, she was able to get the kitchen to rush the order (and apologised). Minor inconvenience, but sorted itself out quickly and quietly.
